Installing PowerDesigner in Administrative Mode

Hi,

I am considering installing PowerDesigner in administrative mode. I am aware of the impact the network would have on such an install. Is there any other cons to this approach?

The question is: on how many physical machines?

Installing on few machines, should not be a problem, but not if installing on xx machines, as you will have to each time:

• configure the license parameters
• configure all the settings and plugins in the tool manually (or create some profiles and use them afterwards).
• configure the repository connections (using a silent installation, you can install them)
• etc.

Besides, of this, there are no real cons… in my opinion...

On the network side, no matter if administrative or silent... the files needs to be copied to the local machine. So there is no big difference how you do it.
