Installation export SOLMAN7.2 (ERROR in uploading path during installation with SWPM)URGENT!! PLS

Former Member

Hello

I am installing Solution Manager 7.2 on RHEL7 unicode, kernel 745 for the first time.

SWPM:SP19

On the phase to choose path for Installation export 1, it gives me error saying :

The integrity check for [DB/ADA/DBSIZE.XML] of installation export1 solution manager 7.2 sr1 failed DIAGNOSIS: the content has been tampered with and must not be used. Solution: Ensure that you use the latest available version of installation export1 solution manager 7.2 downloaded from the sap service marketplace and do not change its content.

But i did download the latest version for installation export and did not change any content of the media...

What could be the possible reason for this error?

Any help would be appreciated. PLEASE.

Hello!

Our problem was that when I uploaded the DVD file to the server with tool called WinSCP, I did not choose binary for upload setting thus, some line feed codes where included thus the file could not be read normally.

So I uploaded the file again with binary settings!

Hope it works for you !

I Just had the same error, while downloading the Installation export package, you are referring to, on a Windows box, executing the self-extracting archive and then copy (winscp) the resulting directory to the Linux host.

According to SAP Note 1706574, the correct way is transferring the package parts to the Linux host first and unpack them there using the free unrar tool (see Note). Doing this solved the problem for me.

Good luck, Jochen

Hello,

When you export DVDs make sure you do not over right parts of it...

SAP Solution Manager 7.2 SR1 Installation Export II 1/2

SAP Solution Manager 7.2 SR1 Installation Export II 2/2

Folder ONE

And

SAP Solution Manager 7.2 SR1 Installation Export I 1/2

SAP Solution Manager 7.2 SR1 Installation Export I 2/2

Folder TWO

Thanks
