Information Steward - ERROR when I try to create a new Integrator source

Hi Expert,

I would like to know if I have the right configuration for IS 4.2 SP08.

Scenario:

BI Platform 4.2 SP3 is installed in one server

IPS/DS/IS is installed in different server

• IPS Version 4.2 SP3
• DS/IS Version 4.2 SP08

DB: SQL Anywhere 16

I got this ERROR when I try to create a new Integrator source on CMC\Information Steward of my IPS.

Connection error : com.bobj.mm.sdk.SDKException: IDS_CMS_LOGON_FAILED (ADM-10008)

And on my BI Plateform I can not run “MMRemoteIntegratorService“.

Any Help please.

I found the answer and it is realy simple :

I had to ignore info view user.

I get this error when I give I am trying to create SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise Integrator Source.

My configuration is as below:

BI Platform 4.2 SP3 is installed in one server

IPS/DS/IS is installed in different server

• IPS Version 4.2 SP3
• DS/IS Version 4.2 SP07

DB: Oracle 12c

Actually when you have to introduce the information to create the metadata integrator, you need to do one of this two things:

. In the end of the windows don't make any informarmation for the connection to the infoview

. Introduce the login information to the infoview

Hi,

I still get the same error, even if I leave the BI Launchpad user and password empty, I've installed the remote service on my 2 app servers and it is running on port 5006. Any other ideas?
