Hi,
We recently upgraded the SAP Kernel to 640 and applied support packs 24 & 25 on our BW 3.0B system.
One of our cubes contains the SAP infoobejcts 0DATEFROM & 0DATETO which are loaded from the attributes of a time-independent infoobject (As-was modelling).
After the upgrade the infopackege needed for loading the data from this cube to another cube changed (datamart infosource). The selections in the tab mutation is now asking for a time interval.
Do these infoobjects have special meaning (I know these are used in for modelling time dependency in infoobjects)?
Thats correct. These infoobjects are used to represent time dependent master data. They have to be populated in order to be able to do time based reporting. When executing queries with time dependent data, a key date needs to be assigned in the query definition. This key date is used to validate against the date from and date to fields in the time dependent attributes / heirarchies / text tables. By default the key date is set to current date.
In your case you would have to populate these fields with values in order to be able to do time dependent reporting.

Karthik,
Thanks for your info, but my quertion was not about time
dependent reporting.
The problem arises when loading data from one cube to an other cube (which is an export data source) without any time-dependent master data in this cube.
However, we used the infoobjects 0DATEFROM & 0DATETO in this cube, which are filled during loading the transaction data. Thess fields are master data attributes from an object which is in the transaction data.
