Hi All,

Could someone please share info about Linking

InfoObjects to corresponding Documents...

please farword me some step by step's

creating and Linking infoObjects and

Documents.

Hi,

You can start with documents in AWB. Start creating a new doc and it is self explanatory. It will take you step by step and its not a diff task I believe.

Geni,

documents are supplementary information about data in BW..

there are two types...

Documents that describe an infoobject ( metadata documents )

Documents that describe a master data record ( adocument on what material number 12345 is , maybe accompanie with pictures etc..)

this document isnot stored in the cube / ODS but is linked to the master data and can be displayed in the query if required..

To display the documents , go to query properties and check display document links..

Fisrt decide what kind of document you need to display and then proceed accordingly.

one last question where does these Documents are stored,

Is it in Document Management Server?

Documents are stored in BDS..

Hi All,

Can i load documents like a batch process, because

attaching each document to a Character Value of

master data is laborious.

Also i didn't see a triangle sign next to Character

value when i attached a document instead i had to

right click and select display document...
