Hi All,
what factors should be taken care of to say my infocube design is the best.
Thanks
--Monica
hi
Factors to be taken care of
1. List out all the infoobjects required for reporting
2. Group all the related infoobjects in a single dimension
3. Create several dimensions with related infoobject together as required
4. You can use line item dimension if any one of your dimension is very large
5.Use time charecteristics as you require
6.Activate navigation attirbutes for all the objects you want navigation in reporting
These are some basic things
I may have missed one or two points

Hello,
Once your cube is ready and loaded, check if the dimensions are correctly "weighted" (i.e. are the characteristics correctly distributed) via program SAP_INFOCUBE_DESIGNS in SE38.
I think that statistics of the cube must have been calculated before launching the program... try it to know...
It will give you a list of the cubes in the system and their layout.
I hope it helps,
Jeoffrey
