Indexes for PSA Table

Former Member

Hi,

System adminstrators told me today that they found some missing indexes in BW.

They sent me the tables that are inconsistent, and they are all PSA tables.

We delete the PSA content everyday before a new loading.

Is there any way to create indexes for PSA tables?

Best regards

Hi João,

the PSA is partitioned by request ID and the partition index will get regenerated on loads to PSA without which data loads will become slow.

You should use 'RSAR_PSA_PARTITION_CHECK' check/repair tool. This checks the secondary indexes of PSA tables for consistency. You can use the 'Repair' option to repair incorrect secondary indexes.

Please, look at notes below for further information about this report:

1042182 - Secondary index is inconsistent for PSA tables

Rgds,

Colum

I don't think you need indexes on PSA tables.

If you really need then I think only way is to create at the database level.
