In Change Request Making a default subject

Dear all,

We are using SOLMAN 4 and SCM functionality.When we create a change request from charm_create transcation,i want to set in the subject line Urgent correction as default.How can we this?please help

Hi Avinash,

I got a question for you.

CHARM_CREATE uses business transaction SDCR by default. Do you know the customizingstep, so it will use your own defined business transaction?

Hi Remy Piets,

Thanks for reply.We do the customizing in spro under transaction type.But in that there is no place were we specify the what should appear in the subject by default.If you can tell were to do that it will be helpfull.

Hi Avinash,

If you go to SPRO and follow this IMG steps:

CRM -> Transactions -> basic settings -> define transaction type

You select SDCR and select on the left side of the bar "assignment of business transaction categories". and then choose "Business activity". and select on the left side of the bar "Customizing header".

There you can choose your default value for the subject. I hope this will help you out.

Thanks for the support.I have already checked those settings,but my problem is i what to set the subject with "urgent correction" as default.Can you help regarding this?

I am also using CHARM_CREATE and would like to leave Urgent Correction as default. Were you able to solve this issue??

Dear Henry,

I was not able to find a straight way to do that,but found a way around.

When you see the drop down menu of Subject,first it displays the codes of implementation cycle and then of Maintenance cycle.So to make the Urgent correction as the default one,i spro Soluman->Scenario-Specific Settings->Service Desk->Define code Groups and code for Catalogs (for catalog IB)changed the status of implementation in to "InProcess" from "Released".By this Urgent correction comes as the Default.In our case we are not using Maintenace Project for Change Management and so we are not having any problem by doing this.

If you are not using Charm for Imple. proj, you can do this.But as i told you it is not the straight way to do this.

Revert for any clarification.

hi , SDCR means transaction type is Change request , where can we find the links ? such as ZDCR means change documents ?
