import into nwds

Hai

i have projects in my folder on desktop . i tried to import to nwds in webdynpro prospective . while choosing import-->multi from work space . i completed succesfully.

i given option "open file after import".

but the reflect of the project will be in navigation explorer only not in webdynpro explorer.

what is i need to do for reflect into webdynpro explorer.

Hi

Somethimes it happen like that only.close the NWDS one and open it .Import the project >go to navigator tab>Rc on Project > Rebuild all> open it WebDynpro Perspective.

Hi,

Closing the project in the Navigator and again open the project in the Navigator tab is enough.If it dies not work,close all the prospective and open only WD prospectiv.Surely it will work.

hi ,

After importing the project we have syn used dcs and create project .

go to the development infrastructure .

right click on the software component --> build Contained Dcs .

Then ur project will be visible below ur software component .

right click on ur project > Sync/createProject>create Project or Sync Dcs .

After this go to the web dynpro explorer and refresh it , u will find ur project in the explorer.

Hi,

Most of the times it will happen like that only. as said above just open it if it closed in Navigator. or close and open its open.

dont for get to rebuild the project once you open it in WD explorer immediately after opening it.

Hi,

Project in navigator tab is in open state or closed state?

If its in closed state, open it .

If its in open state, close it and try to open again. check for errors.

If this does not solve problem, delete project & impoer again.

You can also try closing all views (navigator, web dynpro,Outline). Then close web dynpro purspective & open it again.

If nothing works, reinstall NWDS.

Hi.

After you are done with importing of ur Project.

Follow the following Steps:

If u have ur project in Web Dynpro Explorer - > Close ur project by right clicking and choose Close Project.

Now Go to Navigator -> Ur project must b there , Right Click and Open that.

Now you wud be able to work on ur project in Web Dynpro Explorer.

I done that , and also iam at webdynpro prospective only .

in webdynpro prospective we can see webdynpro expolrer and NAVIGATOR .

i seen my my project in NAVIGATOR only not in WEBDYNPRO EXPOLRER . what reason behind this.

Hi,

If the projects of type webdynpro , automatically the projects are shown in webdynpro.

do one thing close the project by rigth click on it, and open it again.
