Implementing MDG COnsolidation FIORI App

Hi All,

i am trying to configure MDG COnsolidation FIOIR App. I checked in FIORI library it says it should be done on MDG9 . I am confused can we configure MDG consolidation FIORI APp on MDG8. Also have looked into help.sap.com it says we need HANA as pre-requisite for configuring MDG COnsolidation APp.

Can any one please clarify these?

Hi,

Check this link -

Here if you select SAP Business Suite -  Latest back-end version in the drop down just below the app title in the detail page and under the Implementation section select the delivery date as Q2/2015 (Q2/2016 will be the default value in this drop down) then you will see the Back End Components (ABAP) shows the Product Version as SAP MDG 8.0. So if you have MDG 8.0 then you will have to install the Q2/2015 version of this Fiori app (UIMDC001 100 as opposed to UIMDC001 200 for the Q2/2016 release).

Also there is no HANA DB required for this version of the app. HANA would be required for the SAP S/4HANA, on-premise edition version of this app.
