I have got this below doc from SDN for SAP PI 7.4

Clarification: Has SAP PI 7.31 and  SAP PI 7.4 any more new features added in 7.4

Suggest which one is better version SAP PI 7.31 or SAP PI 7.4

SAP PI 7.4 also supports dual stack.

If you are going with HANA/Sybase as DB, u need to use PI7.4. PI 7.31 runs on Oracle database.

Can you please suggest your inputs what all the needs to be consider before the upgrade.

What are the issues we may face at the time of upgrade.

Hi

What do you mean by cloud environment?You can upgrade from 7.0 to 7.4 and 7.4 supports backend as HANA DB (With some restriction i guess, don't remember exactly)

Hello Venkat,

AFAIK if you go for Dual stack then you do not have much advantage as SAP will not anymore work on improving the features on ABAP stack, hence it is suggested to go for Java stack installation.

For doing this you need to re-build all the ccBPMs which you have in PI 7.0 system.
