Hi All,

In my query I have a condition where if 0ac_doc_typ=R1-R6 then I have to show an RKF else another RKF in the column.

PLease guide me as to how i can achieve same in query designer.

Thanks in advance.

Restrict your RKF with those acc.doc.type now this will show values only against those doc type and blank for others.

In your other RKF exclude those acc that it does not display data for these acc types.

Now make a new formula and add both the RKFS then it should work as desired.

We cannot read strings in If else condition at Bex level so you need to follow the above approach.

Dear Dolly,

You cant use Characteristic at Condition level to restrict data.

You can do work around like , Restrict your KF with 0AC_DOC_TYP - R1 - R6(KF1).

Another Restricted KF (KF2) and add your KF and dont restrict with any document types.

Then write one formulae (KF3 ) and write  formulae like:

(KF1 = 0 *KF2) + KF1.

Here if KF1 holds data , then you will able to see . Otherwise you can see data of KF2.

Best wishes, Vijay
