idoc triggering workflow

hi,

whenever IDOC is created ,it may be purchase order, sales order,etc.

my work flow wants to get trigger.

can anybody help me to do this scenario...

i tried with object type IDOC but its not trigerring...

Hi ,

For triggering workflow from Idoc . Some configurations have to be done.

1. In WE42 create your own process code . Give processing type as Processing by task .

2. In identification give the workflow or task number.

3. Then goto BD67 and give the function module name as IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS

4. In IDoc packet give the Object type and end event

5. In IDoc give the Object type and start event

Hi,

You can trigger IDOC's through POIT transaction or Through USER EXIST .

Call Function module SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT and pass your BO name, Event name & IDoc No related for creating PO or SO.

for PO use BO BUS2012 .....
