IDOC flatfile to XML

Hello,

I have following question: I want to convert a IDOC flatfile to IDOC XML

I found already following:

There is always explained how I get a file for example from an ECC. But I just want to get a file from a directory via file adapter and just convert it. What do I need the connection with an ECC for? I do not have access to that ECC that provides me that IDOC. Is there a possibility to just convert that IDOC file to an IDOCXML?

Hi Aleksandar,

To Convert the IDoc Flat to IDocXML, StandardModule provided need the connection details of ECC to which it PI Runtime can connect and execute the report which converts the IDoc Flat to IDoc XML as per the metadata of the IDoc in that system

So you need to mandatorily provide the Connection details of the ECC (Any ECC system of your landscape where the release version of the IDoc to be converted is same exists...) so that PI Runtime can translate the idoc Flat to XML...

what you basicly say is : No ECC no conversion form IDOC flat to IDOCXML.
