iDoc file type while using iDoc as source

Hi All,

I am developing a job which extracts data from SAP ECC system using iDoc as source.

I am getting below error.

[IDoc File Source:DEBMAS01(SAP_DataStore.)]

The IDoc file for <IDOC DEBMAS01(SAP_DataStore.)> is not defined. (BODI-1111053)

I need to specify the iDoc file but do not know what should be the file.

Hi Chetan,

Let me know the job type you used for idoc.

If you are using IDOC in 'batch job' it asks to provide the 'IDOC File'. i.e, the idoc fie with its path in the IDOC Source editor properties as shown in the below figure.

If you use IDOC in 'Real time job' there is no need to provide the IDOC file because we use IDOC as a message source.

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, you are right. In batch job it is asking for iDoc file so I am not able to execute job.

But when I am using same iDoc in RT job it throws me below error.

Error getting next IDoc record. <Error when calling IDOCTYPE_READ_COMPLETE:RFC_ABAP_EXCEPTION-(Exception_Key: OBJECT_UNKNOWN,

SY-MSGTY: E, SY-MSGID: EA, SY-MSGNO: 447)>.

Hi Chetan,

Did you check your RFC connection? The error could be with RFC.
