Hi Experts,

In my developer studio, when I tried to make any process to "Public", an error occurs.

With this error log, can anyone give me any advice?

The IDM is installed on Windows server 2012 R2 and run on a VMware workstation.

regards,

dongsu

Hi Dongsu,

You cannot have spaces or any other special characters in a public process name.

So Alexander is absolutely right.

Rename - get rid of spaces and you will be able to make the process public.

Get rid of '2' also - just big caps, small caps and underscore 🙂

Hi all,

The current image is not worth additional debugging efforts.

Something went wrong badly.

I just go back to an older snapshot of VM.

The recovered system works fine now.

Thank you all.

Hi Dongsu,

When I look at the error - it looks like you have already task or form with the same name as the process.

Check that also - it is just not allowed to have task- processes-forms with the same name because IDM cannot get their type correctly when they are public. Because in this case IDM relay only on the uniqueness of the name.

Hi Dongsu,

which version of Eclipse are you running?

Currently,

IDM is 8.0 SP4 and the eclipse is Version: Neon.3 Release (4.6.3) / Build id: 20170314-1500.

I made this installation a few years ago and it was working without problem.

I will try to roll back to the former snapshots.

Hi Dongsu,

try to rename the process first and get rid of all spaces. Then try again to make it public. Does that help?
