Hi All,
We are performing clean up of all unused PI ESR and ID objects. Currently we are following a manual process, we are getting list of all PI objects of production runtime from performance monitoring and also getting list of all objects configured in Integraation directory and comparing these two lists.
We are performing this activity for every object like (Receiver Determination, Interface Determination etc).
Can someone please suggest me is there any automatic way of doing this activity? Or is there any possibility of writing a java code that will get list of objects from runtime, objects from Integration Directory and compare???
If yes, can someone please let me know the required java libraries for the same. Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Priyanka
Hi Priyanka,
As per my knowledge, You should do it manually.. there is no automatic way..
Since it is a manual process there may be chances of deleting the wrong ones.
So to be on safe side, better to take the backup and then start doing it..

Hi Priyanka,
As Harald mention there is not automated way provided by SAP to identify not used objects.
please refer the below discussion in scn
the only way is to identify which interfaces are run in last period (6-12) month and identify there objects.
I hope SAP will come up some query tool for such kind of requirement in future.
regards,
Harish
Hi Priyanka,
There is no automatic procedure. What we usually do is to use the message monitoring to identify which interfaces have been used the last 3-6 months. All other interfaces can be removed (including all sub-objects).
Best Regards
Harald
