I need help installing Crystal Reports Trial

I am trying to install the 30 day trial 2016 version to see whats different from my Version IX. When I run setup I get an error , "Fatal Error: At least one port in the range 4520-4539 must be open for the installation to proceed."

I have even taken this computer home (Windows 10) and turned off all rules in my firewall except for any port and turned off my anti virus and still got the error. I even downloaded it again hoping it was corrupt but the second download did the same thing. I even tried it on a different computer (Windows 7)

What do I need to do to get this installed

Hi, I had the same problem.

Initially I turned off the firewall, then right click the setup.exe and choose run it as administrator.

It works for me.

In the following directory:

C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\InstallData\logs\ {InstallationTimeStamp}\

there should be setupengine.log file.

Search the file for "4520" keyword to see if the Installation finds an open port or there is something else
