Hi ABAP'er's,

I am the New for ABAP..I want to know details in programming of ABAP from basic onwards..means from frist..i want it with steps ..

1)creating SE11

2)programming :se38..

3)reports,interactive and ALV

Could any one help on these topics ..

hi good year,

sams "teach yourself abap/4 in 21 days" is a good book for the beginners.the book is perfect for beginners..

for further reference..i will give some other headings also..

"introduction to abap/4 programming for sap" by gareth m de bruyn and robert lyfareff .

"abap objects.introduction to programming sap applications" by horst keller

"ABAP Language Quick-Reference" by Peter Kaiser

"SAP Smart Forms" by Werner Hertleif

"Instant Access: SAP Developer's Reference for ABAP" by Consultants Network Inc.

"Configuring SAP R/3 FI/CO: The Essential Resource for Configuring the Financial and Controlling Modules" by Quentin Hurst

if you dont have any background in abap i will prescribe sams teach yourself abap/4 in 21 days...(750 pages book and the cost is 360 indian rupees comes along with a cd )

Create a table:

SE38: give name starts wih Z* or Y*...and give the type as Executable program then save it in dev class/local object...then code


check for examples in ABAPDOCU transaction code
