HTTPS connection

Hi folks,

I need to change the current HTTP connection to HTTPs on solution manager.

Do you know if the Diagnostics Agents and managed sytems will be affected?

What are the steps involved in this modifications?

Hi Marilla,

There is no effect on Diagnostic agents or managed system configuration as these do not use HTTP protocol.

You need to activate HTTPS service in SMICM and define a port for HTTPS.

If there is a http port existing, then use this parameter for redirection

icm/HTTP/redirect_0 = PREFIX=/, FROMPROT=HTTP, PROT=HTTPS, HOST=www.yourdomain.com

Importantly

You need to check the HTTPS and change the port in Select SLD step in solman_setup.

Agent Administration:-> In Agent connectivity Tab, you need to select the MS HTTPS/P4 SSL , this will depend on the version of your system.
