please check the transaction sm58 in the sender system , to see whether there are any idoc waiting in the queue.

Idoc adapter :- we have IDX5 transaction in R3 instance of XI , there we can see the XML messages processing in IDoc adapter.
But Http Adapter, it is a Plain Http Adapter, we can send the messages directly to the IE.

To test the HTTP adapter you can just test the adapter_plain service in TCODE SICF.
Also TCODE : SMICM and then Shift + F1 and you can see the status of the HTTP server
<b>IDOC</b>
Use transaction IDX5 for IDOC Adapter Monitoring
