how to write OLAP Variable which used in infopackage

Hi, experts,

I only know CMOD can write User exit for report variant. right now I wanna set fiscalyear/period from XXXX001 to XXXX( current period minus 2) -- XXXX is fiscal year

how can I write this rule into customize OLAP variable, then I can use it in each of infopackage.

Hi,

We have the following Variable processing types.

1.User/Default

2.SAP exit.

3.Customer Exit.

4.Replacement Path.

5.Authourisations.

You can you Customer exit processing type and write some ABAP code in that.

Procedude:

RSR00001 is exit for Variables,so goto CMOD and find it and you can find one include programm, in that you can write some ABAP code e.g Case: when I_step = 1 like that and do the calculations.

Sorry, didn't pay attention, that it is for selection in infopackage. - I'd try to use SAP exit variables. See here some discussion:

hi, you create and maintain the variable in query designer, like query variable.

Hi,

I would use a user entry variable for current period. Based on this value a user exit will determine values of two variables (or one var with a range): 1st period and current-2.
