Hi Swapna ,
Pl go through my responses in the below thread .
thnkyou Mayank Mehta .
i will read that , if any query i will ask you.
i am thankful to you if u give quick response.
i never work with crm system....before i worked with ecc,bw from portal,
is business pkg required to access crm from the portal?
can u give brf idea about -
generally what type of things from crm we need to integrate into the portal?
and what are the prerequisites
what steps we need to take
i need from the basic level.
When you install business package for CRM (you can get it from service marketplace) , you can view standard CRM content (roles), create custom content and view the same in EP . So this is the first thing you need to have .The version etc depends upon your client/organisation needs .
As far as my experience goes we need to integrate crm with the help of roles . As a prerequisite - SSO should be in place .
Check this - . Once you do all this ,you can follow the steps in my thread .
mehta your response is very important for me.thanks for your fast replies.
i have read the document on sso
but i have a doubt like we can get the verify.der file from the system administration->system configuration->key store administration
is there any need to change anything in that file or can we use directly?
we can export the certicate from the poral leel using sso2 tcode shall i go through like?
is it same as doing from the admin tool?
plz gve the respone.
also tell me how to give rating for best ans?
Better you recreate the certificates in VA and export it from there itself ( i am not sure if we can use it from system admin) . To be on the safer side export it from VA and then import in CRM system . I guess it should be the same if we export it either way .
Even if you have decided to export from system admin , you need not change anything to that file .To give ratings you can select the radio buttons that appear on the left against every post .
where we can find web application server properties.
to interact with crm system
shall we need to maintain the was properties in system object?
plz let me know mehta
Yes Swapna , we need to maintain it in system object , Open it up and check the (WAS) category . There you need to mention host name (CRM in your case) and may be a few other things . Also you need not worry about such things , your Basis team should look into all this .
Please go thr below thread, i hope it will help you
