how to upload data from PSA?

I use BW 3.X

if i have load data to PSA, then how can I load this data to data target directly?

hi Jacky,

you can right click the PSA and 'update immediate' or 'schedule update'.

rsa1 - psa - look for infosource and expand, if PSA few days ago,

make sure setting in settings - display psa tree option

In fact my BW version is 7.0, but i use 3.x component.

so, can you tell me where can i find the PSA in BI7.0? I don't see it.

how's the data flow ? also 3.x ? use transfer/update rules ?

if you can use RSA1OLD and follow mentioned steps.

but if you use transformation, then you need to create and execute DTP to upload PSA data to data target.

Hi,

if master data..

• In left panel select info provider

• Select created info area and right click to select Insert Characteristics as info provider

• Select required info object ( Ex : Employee ID)

• Under that info object select attributes

• Right click on attributes and select create transformation.

• In source of transformation , select object type( data source) and specify its name and source system Note: Source system will be a temporary folder or package into which data is getting stored

• Activate created transformation

• Create Data transfer process (DTP) by right clicking the master data attributes

• In extraction tab specify extraction mode ( full)

• In update tab specify error handling ( request green)

• Activate DTP and in execute tab click execute button to load data in data targets.

and if its transcation data..

• In left panel select info provider

• Select created info area and right click to create ODS( Data store object ) or Cube.

• Specify name fro the ODS or cube and click create

• From the template window select the required characteristics and key figures and drag and drop it into the DATA FIELD and KEY FIELDS

• Click Activate.

• Right click on ODS or Cube and select create transformation.

• In source of transformation , select object type( data source) and specify its name and source system Note: Source system will be a temporary folder or package into which data is getting stored

• Activate created transformation

• Create Data transfer process (DTP) by right clicking the master data attributes

• In extraction tab specify extraction mode ( full)

• In update tab specify error handling ( request green)

• Activate DTP and in execute tab click execute button to load data in data targets.
