How to stop sending remainder mails if the Human task is approved or Reject

Dear Experts,

I have requirement when BPM flow trigger a human task, The task approver needs to approver or reject the task, Task expiry time is 7days, I need to send total 3 reminder mail notification witha gap of 24 hrs ( likey reminder1, reminder2 and final reminder with this mail subjects lines).

I mean first reminder mail needs to send after 24 hrs, second reminder will after 48 hrs and final reminder will be after 72 hrs task assignment.

My problem statement:

The approver is approved the task after seeing the first reminder mail, Then i need to stop sending reminder mail 2 and reminder 3 mails flow and continue the BPM flow.

I tried the below blog. But not able to understand what the author implemented in the "IME " step inside of Event based choice.
