How to set delta interval of 0EC_PCA_3?

Hi,gurus here. As the topic how to set the delta things of 0EC_PCA_3 and other 0EC_PCA_X? BWOM_SETTING?

Hi,

0EC_PCA_* extractors delta setting wont be in BWOM_SETTINGS. By default the saftey limit will be 3600sec. You can check this setting in ROOSOURCE table.

If the interval needs to be chnged then the value in the filed of ROOSOURCE table need to be updated using the program "FAGL_BW_DELTASAFE_SET "with the new value.

I can not find the programe FAGL_BW_DELTASAFE_SET both in BW system and ECC system.

So every time, when we run delta infopackage from BW, which records of ecc side are the delta records will be only hinged on TIMESTAMP in the datasource of 0EC_PCA_X instead any setting table like BWOM_SETTINGS,is it right?

yes all the New GL datasources wont have any setting in BWOM_SETTINGS table.

Check the Note for additional details. Also you can download that program FAGL_BW_DELTASAFE_SET using the Note.

Hi. Thanks and I still have some questions as follows:

1, Does the programe only need to be installed on BW side?

2, And another question is if we don't use the new general ledger account, does the bwom_settings will still work?

3, If we use the new general ledger account,the only delta setting method is to run the programe.

4, Whatever new general ledger account or not, the 0ec_pca_x datasource can only get delta data based on timestamp in its' datasource, right?

1.The Program need to installed on R/3 side.

2.Even if you dont use the new GL account BWOM_SETTINGS wont work

3.using this program only you change the safety limit.

Hi, thanks, but it's strange that as for question 2, the ECC don't use new general ledger account. The Gl Datasource's delta interval is contigent on the BWOM_SETTINGS table.

Hi,

0EC_PCA_3 Delta is Generic Delta on "TIMESTAMP" field with safety upper limit as 3600 sec by Default. So it just behave like a Generic Datasource. so there wont be any entry in BWOM_SETTINGS table.
