I'm working for an ISV that caters to companies using SQL Anywhere. I'm looking for the answer in regards to redistributing the jConnect 7 JAR in an application. Any documentation I can find is old, and I called the company directly with no official answer.
Has anyone else done this and have they gotten some kind of traction?

Do you have SQL Anywhere client license already for these machines? If so, you can distribute the included jConnect JAR (in the Java directory) as part of the SQL Anywhere client components.
If you're just looking to distribute jConnect and don't have SQL Anywhere client licenses already, you'll need to speak with a Sybase sales rep to confirm your license options. I have read on previous discussions around this topic that jConnect itself from the Sybase Software SDK can be deployed with client applications, but the license information must also be included - but again, you should confirm with sales. I know you had mentioned that you hadn't heard a reply, but did you specifically speak with a sales rep - have they not contacted you back yet?
