How to receive notifications via SAP Mobile Start using SAP Netweaver 7.4 with EHP7 for SAP ERP 6.0

Hi SAP,

We would like to receive an alert on our smart device using SAP Mobile Start and the Launchpad Service (SAP BTP).

However we are using SAP Netweaver 7.4 with EHP7 for SAP ERP 6.0.

Is this possible and is there any documentation on this?

Hi genemad ,

in general notification through SAP Launchpad service to SAP Mobile Start app is possible. Check this blog post: Enabling notifications for SAP Mobile Start and SAP Launchpad service | SAP Blogs

But your setup seems not to be supported out of the box according to SAP Help documentation; pleases check the mentioned prerequisites:

But depending on your scenario / use case you might build an custom app on BTP (with integration to your OnPrem ECC to react on certain business events and then push notifications through a custom app as described here Developing Cloud Foundry Applications With Notifications | SAP Help Portal.
