How to programatically set the status of a Program Object from bat file

I'm running Business Objects 4.2. I found SAP Note 1201804 that describes how to do this for previous versions. Hoping someone has done this in version 4.2 and can point me in the right direction. thanks

thanks for fixing the tag.

My program object is a .bat file. I added it to a folder in the CMC and scheduled it to run once a week. The scheduled instance status is always "Success" no matter if it is actually successful or if it should fail. The .bat file does output to a log file but I really need to change the scheduled instance status to Failed when it has issues so that I will get an alert from the system. The SAP Note 1201804 describes how to do this for previous versions of Business Objects. I would like to know if anyone has done this in Business Objects 4. We are running on version 4.2. thanks.

It works the same way in BI4.2 as in prior versions.
