How to load scenario specific master data in SAP IBP using SAP CPI DS.

Hi experts,

I have a use case where I want to load the master data into specific scenario of a planning area.

Use case: Load product data to scenario-specific master data type master data type XXXPRODUCT (Product) for scenario TEST for version DOWNLOAD (has version-specific master data) of planning area XXXPA0.

Can we load the data up to that granularity using CPI DS? If yes, then it would be really helpful to know the process.

Hello Shubham,

I guess, you would have noticed, when you download a table from a new planning area, the table naming would be little different from the main planning area. This would be little extra work to redo all the steps for the new table.

if it is very much mandatory. you can use copy flow option and copy the existing product flow to new target structure (same product table under new planning area) . the last transform steps alone you can redo.

This will be a sure pain, if you have to this for all the flows.

Same, would be easier, if you could download the CPI DI logs from the IBP main planning level and ask the IBP consultant to load it manually in the new planning level.
