Hi Alok,

If one info object have attribute at definition time, that info object will have to maintain master data.

Go to infoobject maintainance screen, attribute tab - if any objects are added then you needo load master data to that primary infoobject.

Please read Extended star schema concept. you may understand.

But in real time, master data and transaction loading at time not allowable. its may give lock issue or unmatch data issues.

So always, first load master data and attribute change run. finally you can load transaction data.

Thanks

Alok,

If you are trying to load your flat file into Cube ( Sales Transaction, Purchase Transactions.. which will be combinations of Characteristics and Key Figures) then you are talking about loading Transaction Data and If you are loading data into a Infoobject (Example: Material, Plant, Customer... ) then you are talking about Loading Master Data.

Now based on the above can you tell where you are trying to load to load your flat file?

You won't be able to load Master Data and Transaction data in one process. These can only be loaded in 2 separate processes.

Hi Alok, I didnt understand ur question fully, try to create two separate files for master data and transaction data. if you know the definitions you should be able to identify the data. and you have load master data first and then transaction data
