UTF-8 is fine for Dutch and German. All non-ASCII characters you need are in the Latin-1 supplement block.

Other codepages suit the purpose, too, e.g. ISO-8859-1.

Yes I have seen multiple languages loaded from source to target using utf-8 or default codepage, but this will be found through your codepage testing above.

Hi,

We are migrating data from Netherlands (Dutch) and Germany (German) to S4, but we have to maintain some data in 3 languages (English/Dutch/german), So is it possible to load same data from source to target in 3 languages using Data services?

Thanks

What data you're migrating to S/4?. What load method you're using?.

For example, if you want to send address data in 3 different languages, simply send 3 line items - one per language - it should work.

Hello,
When you mean loading multiple languages, do you mean that the source data has unicode characters from languages such as Spanish, German, Chinese?

If so, Data Services can transfer that data when the code pages have been properly set and the target tables are designed to hold unicode characters.
