Hi.

I don't think that's possible. Why do you ask?

Hi Karsten:

We have this problem:

In EP we have an employee directory that takes all information from R/3 (HR) by RFC. It works fine.

But one time, the process in R/3 become in private mode and stops in R/3. This let the thread in EP running waiting for the answer from R/3 and the process is stoped in R/3. Even the session is canceled for the user in EP (with visual administrator) and in R/3 for the RFCUSER (SM04), the thread stills running waiting for the answer.

This makes the server process (jlaunch process at OS) take 60% of CPU untill server is restarted.

If we could restart or kill the thread we don´t need to stop the server process.

Best regards,

Javier and Adrian

Hi Javier,

how do you access your backend?

Usually, such a thread shouldn't wait, when the connection is broken, an exception should be thrown instead.
