How to increase message processing log retention period from default 30 days in SAP CPI

Hi All,

I would like to increase the Message processing log(MPL) retention period from default 30 days to 60 days as per customer request so I've gone through couple of documents but didn't work.

Could it be possible to do in CPI? Will it effect the performance or any other area if we change?

Hello Ramana,

User or developer cant extend the message log extension by setting any parameter.You need to raise a ticket to LOD-HCI-PI-OPS to extend the log retention in SAP CPI.

 SAP does not allow us to adjust the period of retention of logs more than 30 days and we found the solution was to we might retrieve older logs by raising a support ticket to LOD-HCI-PI-OPS we want to know is the logs date be permanent or can change from 30 days to more and with time after raising a ticket?? and can we raise this type of ticket again and again ticket or possible to extend the date of retention
