Hi
I have a query on Inventory management scenario on the multiprovider which includes 0IC_C03 and 6 others. When I am trying to execute the query it takes 2 r 3 mints to get populated with the GL Account Hierarchie and some keyfigure values.
When Iam trying to Swap GL/Account with Material(which is in the Free characteristics of the query) the execution takes around 2 -3 mints to populate but the moment when i deactivate the material hierarchy it takes around 30 mints to populate.
Can any one suggest the way to decrease the hierarchy de-activation time of materials..
For your reference iam giving the Query Design
Global Filters of the query are :
Company code hierarchy,
report Currency
Plant
GL/Account Hierarchy
Fiscal Year/Period
Version1
Valuation class Hierarchy
Movement type Hierarchy
Target UOM
Rows Section
GL/Account
Free Charcteristics:
Maaterial, Storage Loaction, Material type etc..
Keyfigures:
Some keyvalues , and other calculated keyfigures etc
Thanks
Ajay
1. How many materials do you have vis a vis GL accounts? Looks like you have millons of materials to be populated in the hierarchy. The fact that when you swap matl with Gl account your query gets populated quickly indicate the volume of data.
2. Can you change your query like this; instead of having the material hierarchy in the global filter can you put it in the free characteristic.
3. Do you have any authorizatin on material or mat hierarchy. If so, disbale them and run to test the performance without autorization.
4. Run RSRT
5. Do you have aggregates, if not why not?
6. try to have aggregates on matel hierarchy and this should give you some good results.
