How to get generated key column value in table comparison transform?

Hello,

I have created a new column in query transform and mapped it to NULL.

Then I connected the query transform with table comparison transform. After importing the table name, I found that newly created column was not getting displayed in Generated_key_column dropdown.

Here E_ID is the surrogate key which I added in query transform.

Please help.

Hi Rajan.

In the Table comparison, the settings are against column that exist in the table selected for comaparison. Not from them Input schema.

Therefore, to help you further, please add the column to the metadata first ( by reimporting after a structural change in the database where you have that table) and then you will be able to select it

That generated key column must be present in the target. Not in the source.
