How to find some Apps in SAP Fiori Apps Reference Library?

Hello,

My client works on a system SAP Fiori based on SAP S/4HANA version 2020.
When I go to the App Finder in SAP Fiori, I see the following App names.
- Work Center Assignment to Cost Ctr (transaction code CR06)

- PP-PI: Material Usage Analysis (transaction code MCRX)

I would like to have more information about these two Apps and look for them in the official SAP Fiori Apps Reference Library with the following link :

SAP Fiori Apps Reference Library (ondemand.com)

When I look for both Apps in the Library, I have the "No Apps found message"
Example for the CR06 transaction code

Does someone have a tip on how to find these apps in the SAP Fiori Apps Reference library, or if some apps don't appear in the official catalogue?

I appreciate any help you can provide.

Best regards

Nelson

Hi Nelson, If you are not finding a GUI transaction code in the SAP Fiori apps library (e.g. in the filter All Apps for SAP S/4HANA) ... BUT you can still and use the transaction in your system... usually it is ok to use...*however* you are recommended to raise a SAP Incident to confirm it is still ok to use.

Sometimes it's not been listed because it is on a track towards deprecation. Sometimes it's just a small area that hasn't been documented fully yet...

For CR06 I cannot find anything to confirm.

For MCRX it's mentioned in the following SAP Note which would suggest it is still available:

2390451 - Info structures not properly updated

You can find more help in this blog post - it's a little old but still good info

Hello Nelson,

My five cents... They don't appear in the Fiori Library because they are not Fiori Apps. They are transaction codes.

I would say they are visible for the end users in the Fiori Launchpad because they are part of a folder in the PFCG role. Please, check the PFCG role if it is the case. If not let us know so we can think of something else.

HI Vanessa, Actually a lot of GUI transaction codes are included in the filter All Apps for SAP S/4HANA. This is where we list classic UIs that are ok for use with SAP S/4HANA. If it's not listed there but still exists I would suggest raise a SAP incident to ask.

Dear Nelson,

  1. as Jun pointed out, it could be the case that it is not a standard Fiori-app.
  2. When you start the app, identify in the URL a part starting with #Something-someaction, e.g. #Workcenter-manage.
  3. This part is called "target-mapping" and is built upon #<Semantic Object>-<action>
  4. you can take this information in the Fiori-Library to filter your results.

For your particular case, you will see if you are searching for the tcode CR06, that there are no results so I am pretty sure that this is a custom made tile for that SAPGUI for HTML tcode.

1. what information you are looking for? library mostly gives technical information

2. are you sure those app delivered by sap? if it is created by the customer, it won't be shown in the library
