Hi Arnold,
Before deleing the lock entries you should take care of the following.
Black locks are normal transaction locks. Blue locks are inherited by the update system and deleted with the corresponding update request. Blue locks are also saved in the file system and restored when the system is restarted.
SM12 -> Select All -> Delete

Hi,
Always put the deletion of locked entry on second step. First of all always check whether you can achieve the same result by killing the user session. i always do the same sucessfully (no need to delete the entry from SM12).

Hi
We can check the lock entries from SM12
Note the lock key of the relevant lock entry. Select this entry and choose Details to display the transaction code
so after the proper approval from the management you can delete the particular lock entry if required .

Hi
Lock entries should only be deleted if you are sure that they are invalid and their deletion will not impair any active process (i.e user session)
To delete Lock Entries
1)Log on to respective Environment
2)Go to transaction SM12
3)Select Lock Entry
4)then select Delete All
Thanks.

Hello Julie.
Check with the users / process owners before deleting it. Carefull. Deleting without checking results in instability of DB
