Hi,

In my portal application they implemented the business packages( ESS & MSS). Now there is a business requirement that when the user clicks on the item in the detail navigation, it should show a popup window.

I am not able to find the solution. and also not able to find the exact par file.

If any one knows the solution .. please post ASAP.

thanks&regards,

Ravi

Ravi,

Goto

Sys Admin->support->Roots->portalApps and here you will find com.sap.portal.navigation.detailedtree

Download it and you can edit the par.

If it works award points

Hi Ravi, hi Raja,

> Roots->portalApps and here you will find

This is only the path to the application part which is directly accessable, whereas the part in "ROOT/WEB-INF/portal/portalapps" is the implementation part.

The right path to the whole PAR is this: ROOT/WEB-INF/deployment/temp. Download the PAR (*.par.bak = the last deployed version) in question, you'll get a ZIP with the *.par.bak inside. Extract it and rename from .par.bak to .par

This you can import into NWDS. Be aware that NWDS has a PAR import bug and does not import the JARs. You have to add them manually.

Hope it helps

hi,

1. Navigate to particular par

2. Make a copy of it and rename it.

3. Move par to a location outside of the <J2EE-Engine_Instance>.

4. Extract the files preserving the directory structure.

5. Modify files in the extracted PAR file.

6. Put the modified files .

7. Copy it to original location.

restart portal

hope it helps....

Hi,

The par for Detailed Navigation is com.sap.portal.navigation.detailedtree.par.
