How to connect to external hana database which on VM using node and react js app deployed on CC BTP?

I am working on a small POC where i am trying to connect my app (using node js and react js) to an external hana database which is running on cloud VM. This DB is accessible on local m/c and node js server is able to connect to this database, execute the query and display the results. 

But when i deploy the same on the cloud cockpit it give me the below error

Error: Connection failed (RTE:[89001] Cannot resolve host name '<hostname>' rc=-2: Name or service not known (<hostname>:<port>)).

Can anyone please help me out in this topic.

Hi Suchendra,

It is possible the BTP account hosting the cloud cockpit cannot access the database. If these are SAP internal systems, you may need to raise a ticket to get this connectivity established.

One question what kind of ticket do i need to create is it a SNOW a different ticket.

Sorry - I have not created similar ticket before but a starting point would be the Unified Ticketing Portal.
