How to configure Multiple trays of Printer to Print in particular format in SAP

Hello Experts,

this is my customers query:

"yes, tray selection used to be handeled locally not in SAP in the past. However, now, with all the multi-tray & multifunction web-controlled printers, we have to find an SAP solution."
right now, he has to manually select tray 1 and page format A4 to print in A4 format and likewise he has to select tray2 and A5 format to print in A5 format and tray3 for A3 format.

i tried defining the trays in SPAD. for example Tray1– DINA4, Tray2 - DINA5, Tray3 – DINA5,...but its not working.

Device Type: Z_KYONRM: Kyocera FS-1500 mit sf629
Device class: Standard printer
Host Spool Access Method: L:Print Locally Using LP/LPR

Hi Ankur.

From SAP I am not sure, but you can have a workaround by creating the three different printers in the local system, each one of the printers can be pointed to different paper sizes and tray selection.
