how to call a OData Servie Of BTP From Abap Report

could someone tell me the step by step to call an OData service exposed by SAP BTP from an Abap report?

In practice, inside an abap report I have to call an oData service that was created inside SAP BTP

Hi Mark,

Lots of examples around. Try searching for CL_HTTP_CLIENT .

The challenge is more about mapping the oData payload to ABAP data structures. And the ABAP version you are using also comes into play.

I generally specify a JSON payload ($format=json) and use the /UI2/CL_JSON class to deserialise the JSON into an ABAP data structure. There are open source ABAP projects for deserialising JSON but the SAP code has improved a lot in recent releases so I now try and use it.

You will probably also need to wrestle with the x-csrf-token once you move beyond GET but it is quite straight-forward once you grok how it works.
