Hi all

We are also getting this issue, but from our ERP system. The message shows at the top of an iview, and is mostly cut off. We don't believe it should show at all, and are currently getting the ivew looked at

the iview is fine. It looks like something that is relatively new as up until last month we have never seen an SM02 message appear in our Netweaver portal.

Any advice out there?

Koti Reddy, i have found iview of the page where that message appears, but it seems to me  there is no option concerned to hide/show the message.

Simon, its not pop-up message, it appears on the page. I dont know whether it standart iview or developed ...

Thanks anyway ))

Can you just remove the iView? Or do you need it to be there for some other reason? In the iView properties you should be able to see a property called "Code Link" what does that say.. if it starts with com.sap then it is probably a standard SAP one, if not then probably you have developed it or a 3rd party has.

Hi,Simon,

I suggest you to ignore that!!

It might transaction Iview which they might have specifically created to see backend messages. If you want to convey that is not applicable to portal, update that message in backend.

Hi,

Where do you see these messages in the portal? Is it when you launch a BW Report?

That sounds like a custom development. I agree with Koti Reddy, you should look to see what iView it is that shows the message in the portal (it is not standard SAP portal functionality). Can you provide a screenshot, is it a pop-up message or an iView on a page? It might be something added to the framework page...
