How to approve the leave in SBWP ?

Hi all,

We are implementing ESS business package on EP7.0.Our backend system is ECC6.0.Everything is fine .we have aproblem in approvving the leave.We configured the UWL and we are using ws12300111 workflow.The leave request is going to managers SBWP and UWL. We are able to approve the leave in UWL but not able to approve the leave in the SBWP.

It is showing the the workitem cannot be accessible r something like this.

This is correct. It will not allow you to launch it from SBWP becuase it is lauching a webdynpro application.

Thanx for the reply.Ya it is opening a webdynpro app.Is there any solution to approve from SBWP also?I think once it is in SBWP the manager will try to click it and if it didnt worked it will not be good.Any solution for this?Please help me.

I'm afraid that the whole point of the UWL is that it replaces SBWP. So the solution is get people to action all of their workflows through UWL.

ESS / MSS has the portal as mandatory these days, which is why things like leave request are written in webdynpro, i.e. web based, rather than a horrible looking SAP transaction code.
