How to adress server node in the url on WAS 620

Hi,

we are running one SAP WAS 620 instance with two server nodes. How can I adress an application on a specific server node?

We tried the following and each try in a new browser session:

https://<host>/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.portal.navigation.portallauncher.default?sapj2...

In the http watch I could examine that the cookie sapj2ee_* is always different from the entered one. I'm not on the node where i wanted to be.

Do you have any idea how to solve my problem?

Thanks and regards

Marcus

By using below FORMULA , you can directly login to required server node

http://<Server>:<PortNumber>/irj/portal;sapj2ee_irj=<NodeNumber>;

Additional info:

The node I want to adress is running in debug mode

HI Marcus,

you have to first initiate a "debugging session" by using this special request: http://host:port/@@@DEBUG@@@. This will set a cookie, containing the ID of the cluster element in debug mode. Then all subsequent requests will go there.

For more info on remote debugging on 6.20, see the Administration Manual -> Configuration Tasks -> Setting up SAP J2EE Engine 6.20 for Remote Debugging section.
