Hi
we (SAP TwoGo Team) need the RichTextEditor for our administration application. Unfortunately
I'm unable to activate them. I always get an error:
You try to use the RichTextEditor control with TinyMCE plugin without valid license. - Please read the API documentation of the RichTextEditor carefully. sap.ui.richtexteditor.RichTextEditor
The documentation didn't help at this point. How can we activate the editor for SAP applications (not third party)
Regards
Andreas
P.S.: I found this question several times..but there seems to no solution out there?!
Hi,
as written in the JSDoc, the SAP license for TinyMCE only covers SAP applications. Customers/partners need to get their own license from Moxiecode.
I have replied by private mail to Andreas how to register the fact that a proper license is in place.
Of course it's all JavaScript and it would be possible to circumvent the built-in check (just like it would be possible to just download and use TinyMCE without license), but this would then be visible as a deliberate violation of the TinyMCE license, so external parties first need to make sure they are allowed to use it.
Regards
Andreas
