My client has a requirement that they want some of their unplanned orders to be excluded from MRP calculations because they use MTS and independent demand to manage production, and unplanned orders for R&D interfere with their management of supplies.
Of course, the first option is the MRP area feature, but given that they have not enabled it and that setting it up at this point may result in increased maintenance costs for the material data later on, they would like to consider being able to modify the MRP logic so that it doesn't run specific types of orders.
I know that it is possible to make changes to the MRP logic in S4 or ECC, but I haven't found a way to do so in the public cloud version, so I would like to ask the experts here if it is possible to implement this change and if so how should I do it?
