Here is the context and background for my question:
The System is BW 7.52 on Hana. I have a base cube (ZBase_CB1) that was used as the source to feed a secondary cube (ZCO1234). The feed was performed via a delta DTP, but now that load has been decommissioned. I cannot delete ZCO1234 because the static data might be needed. But the problem is such that I cannot compress ZBase_CB1 because the system tells me all datamarts have not been updated.
Message no. RSM1548
What is the proper method to remediate this issue permanently? In my sandbox and development instance, I can update the DMALL field of RSMDATASTATE which seems to fix the issue, but I cannot do the same in a closed system.
Request clarification before answering.
When you say "load has been decommissioned" Can you elaborate? Do you still have transformation? if yes, you can create a new DTP or use existing DTP to perform an init without data transfer by setting the DTP processing mode as 'No Data Transfer; Delta Status in Source: Fetched'. Once you execute the load with this setting, the DataMart criteria will be fulfilled and you will be able to compress the request in source. Manually updating the DMALL field of RSMDATASTATE is not recommended.
