How do I Link an IFS directory to a Windows server folder

Hello

I have an ECC5.0 running on Iseries.

I would like to configure a File Port in Tcode WE21 for outgoing IDOCs and would like to have the IDOC files created directly on a directory on a windows server (which is running the EDI communication software).

How do I accomplish that ?

Hello

I just created a subdirectory under QNTC with the hostname of the windows server.

As of that moment I could access the windows server's file system from the Iseries.

Prerequisite is that the Iseries username and Windows account have the same name.
