How do I archive discussions?

Hi,

I am working on EP 6.0 SP2 Patch 4 HF2.

I have a standalone KM Discussions iView.

I want to archive the discussion threads after a period of, say, every seven days. At the same time, I want these threads to be available to the users later on.

Does anybody have an idea about the archiving capabilities for discussions? If yes, please reply ASAP.Thanks in advance.

Can someone from the SDN team answer this?

Since people use these discussions so widely, what strategy has the SDN team adopted to archive the threads and then make it available later on?

I know now that the SDN team has used a third party tool for discussion forums.
